Car rental at Podgorica airport

I’m flying into Podgorica late in the evening and thinking about getting a car rental right at the airport to avoid taxis. I’ve never rented there before and worry about hidden fees, deposits and car condition. Any real experiences or tips worth knowing?

I rented a car at Podgorica Airport last summer. Overall it was fine, but don’t rush the paperwork. Take photos of the car before driving off and check for scratches. The deposit was blocked on my card and released a few days later without issues.
