Night bar in Gudauri - worth a visit after skiing?

Post by Fricon »

Guys, any thoughts on the night bar in Gudauri? We’re heading there with a group, skiing during the day and looking for a decent spot in the evening. Not a full-on club, but not dead either. Good atmosphere, music, people - is it worth going?

Went there last season and it was alright for a post-ski drink. Mostly electronic music, mixed crowd, lots of tourists. Prices are on the high side, but that’s standard for a resort. Don’t expect anything massive, just a relaxed evening vibe.

I’d say the night bar in Gudauri is more about atmosphere than wild partying. We popped in a few times after skiing — warm, busy, DJ playing, people chatting and unwinding. At weekends it can get livelier with themed nights. Drinks are decent, though not cheap, but that’s mountain resorts for you. If you’re up for socialising, meeting new people and having a few cocktails, it works well. For proper all-night dancing, you’d need to check what’s on that evening.
