Bentley oil change in Dubai – what grade are you guys actually using?

I recently brought my 2015 Continental GT over from the UK and the manual says to use 0W-40, but a couple of local mechanics have told me that with Dubai summer temps I should go thicker like 5W-50 to protect the twin turbos. I've been looking at Bentley luxury engine oil change specialists and some of them insist on sticking to factory spec while others say the heat changes everything, so now I'm completely confused. Has anyone here run a W12 or V8 Bentley through a full summer on the recommended oil without issues, or did you switch to something else? Really don't want to be the guy who ruins an expensive engine by being stubborn about the manual. Also curious how often you're changing it – every 5k km or do you trust the long life intervals?
