Traffic results differ from the predicted autosurf stats
Traffic results differ from the predicted autosurf stats
The autosurf dashboard showed 340 visits overnight, but the analytics recorded perhaps only 60 actual sessions. It seems like the numbers are simply made up. Has anyone in Canada actually tracked this for a full week to compare the results?
Re: Traffic results differ from the predicted autosurf stats
Three campaigns in and I still get this mismatch every single time. My autosurf counter hit 500 but real engagement was maybe a tenth of that, wich honestly made me laugh. The traffic sources just dont behave the same as organic ones do.
Re: Traffic results differ from the predicted autosurf stats
I switched to manual cross-checking, and the gap was nearly halved that same day, because Autosurf counts page loads rather than actual user sessions. PHP trackers sometimes also register bot pings as visits, so it's worth checking your site settings. A detailed description of this can be found at https://surfi.site/blog.php
