Came back to CS2 a few weeks ago after about eight months away and honestly felt pretty lost trying to figure out where people were actually talking about the game. My old bookmarks were dead or slow, and I wanted somewhere with real daily activity, not just highlight clips and memes.
After some searching I landed on the csgo sub and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The community there posts regularly, covers everything from competitive tips to patch reactions, and the comment sections actually have back-and-forth discussion rather than just upvote farming. That was the main thing I was missing. Good signal-to-noise ratio compared to a lot of places I had checked.
One thing that surprised me was how much useful content gets buried in the comments rather than the top posts. Worth scrolling a bit deeper. I found a few threads about the economy side of the game too, skins and cases and that sort of thing, which I had kind of ignored before my break. Someone linked a solid hellcase review post in one of those threads and it gave me a pretty grounded look at what to expect, written by someone who clearly had real time with it rather than just copy-pasting marketing language.
If you are returning after a break and want one place to check daily, that subreddit is my honest recommendation. It feels active without being overwhelming, and the quality of posts has been better than I expected. Give it a week and you will probably have a few tabs open from there already.
