Mets celebrate MLB playoff berth as champagne flows in spirited clubhouse festivitie

The celebration was on in the Mets clubhouse. The Amazins finally got to enjoy the fruits of the labors with plenty of champagne, beer and some cigars after clinching their second postseason berth in three seasons by in a thrilling come-from-behind win in Game 1 of a doubleheader at Truist Park on Monday. They dropped Game 2, 3-0, and will head to Milwaukee to face the Brewers on Tuesday at 5:32 p.m. as the third NL wild card.
