I want to invest in property somewhere touristy. Looking to make money off renting it out. I've got the funds, just need them actually working for me instead of sitting around doing nothing. So what country would be worth investing in?

If I were you I'd look at the Pacific resort destinations. A lot of people these days are buying villas in Thailand, Bali, even the Maldives. Tourists show up year round out there, so renting out a place can pay off pretty well.

Dubai's been a hot spot for tourists from the US for a while now, flights packed out heading there from all over the country. Plenty of those folks were renting places once they landed too. Things slowed down a bit after recent events, but that also knocked prices down some. Looks like it's bounced back though, so demand for trips to the UAE should pick back up before long. You could check out real estate in Dubai here: https://atvir.com/ . Then grab a villa or an apartment for renting out, whichever fits your budget.
