Why are Temu ads showing me products I don’t need?

Hi everyone,

I keep seeing Temu ads for products that I have absolutely no interest in or need for. Sometimes the ads seem completely unrelated to what I usually search for or buy online.

Does anyone know how Temu decides which products to show in its ads? Is it based on browsing history, cookies, location, or something else?

I’d also like to know if there is a way to make these ads more relevant or reduce the number of unwanted Temu ads I see.

Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do about it?

I keep getting ads for random gadgets, kitchen tools, and things I never searched for and definitely don’t need. The funny part is that after seeing the same product five times, I start thinking, “Okay… maybe I actually need this?” Temu’s ads are getting way too good at creating problems I didn’t know I had.

If Temu ads are starting to feel like they’re following you everywhere, you’re definitely not alone 😅 Sometimes you just want to browse without seeing endless offers for things you never asked for. The good news: you can blocking Temu ads and have a bit more control over what shows up in your feed. I found a simple tip that can help — especially if you’d rather see content and products that actually match your interests. Give it a try and make your scrolling a little less annoying.
