After getting through the first few minutes of a new world, I usually start thinking about where I actually want to stay. Sometimes I find a place that looks perfect almost immediately, while other times I keep exploring and end up much farther from my original starting point.

I’ve found that the location can make a big difference later, especially once you start building farms, storage, and other things around your base.
