I’ve become a bit more careful with Minecraft downloads over time. There are so many mods, launchers, texture packs and other tools available that it can be difficult to know which ones are actually worth trusting.

I usually try to check the source before downloading anything, especially when it’s an app or file that needs to be installed manually. A familiar name or a lot of downloads doesn’t necessarily mean the file is genuine.
