How can I locate a deleted Word document on Chromebook?

In case you accidentally delete a Word file on your Chromebook, first see if it is located in the Trash folder in the Files application. In order to do this, open Files, choose the Trash folder, and see if the file that you need is there. If it is, right-click on the file, select the 'Restore' option from the menu, and the file should be recovered. In case the file was saved in Google Drive, see if it is still in the Drive Trash folder, as sometimes files deleted from cloud storage might be temporarily saved in it. Otherwise, see if you have a duplicate or backup of this file.
