Anyone here successfully removed a name from a federal sanctions list

Post by Lamar »

Somehow, I was added to the SDN list, even though I'm from Miami, and now everything is frozen. I tried to dispute it myself, but it didn't go well. Where can I turn for help?

Many people think the Treasury simply quietly removes names after a standard appeal, but in reality, the review process alone took me about fourteen months. The paperwork was simply incredible. I wouldn't have taken on this without someone who truly knows OFAC procedures from the inside.

Sitting in a Miami courtroom, I realized for the first time how poorly people understand this process. The SDN List isn't some administrative footnote that can be challenged with a letter. A lawyer who truly understands OFAC procedures is worth every penny, because a petition to remove a designation has strict formal requirements. For example, I suggest you look here for more information on services https://arkadybukhlawfirm.com/practice- ... sanctions/
