Where should I look for a luxury villa by the sea in Dubai?

I'm planning to move to Dubai and would really like to live somewhere close to the sea. I'm looking for a luxury villa with plenty of space, and I'd also prefer a neighborhood with a good number of foreign residents so settling in doesn't feel too isolated. I haven't decided on an area yet and don't really know where people usually search for this kind of property. Which parts of Dubai would you look at, and where can I browse good villa listings?

The neighbors part is actually a smart thing to think about. Moving countries is a lot easier when half the people around you have done the same thing and nobody treats the new guy like an alien. For that kind of international crowd with the water right there, I'd put Palm Jumeirah high on the list. There are plenty of villas around the fronds, and the area has restaurants, hotels, beach clubs, and a lot going on without feeling cut off from the rest of Dubai.
